Vivi, Viv, Viviana - Who?

Architect from Colombia, fell in love with Australia when I came to visit my brother three years ago and decided to come back to study more. Been living in Australia for the past two years, years in which I have studied Interior Design and Graphic Design, but I knew something was missing from that mix. That's why I decided to top it all up with a Master of Design.

The decision of coming to Australia was fairly simple:

1. My brother lives here...

2. The design scenario is growing at a fast rate. Working and studying in an environment related to Interior Design and Architecture, I have the opportunity to see new trends, colour schemes, materials, etc, being placed into action on a daily basis. The idea of having a Coastal or a Hampton's look has been shifting. It is also common to see an European vibe in new projects, such as the timeless Scandinavian Style, or even more risky with the use of colours and rustic elements to have that Traditional Italian Style.

Not very simple to leave my mom, other brother and dog back at Colombia, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sake of all (at least that is what I tell myself everyday).

Getting back on track... so why a blog? I have always had a special love for writing, my brother used to tease me because I loved to write essays for school, kind of a nerd that way. With that in mind, mixing my love for design with a long lost love for writting, I thought it might be a good idea to write something that could be useful.

 

So now, buckle up, and be ready to get in touch with my wannabe "writer" side.
